Who I Am

Bro. Glen Jenkins, aka timJ, was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. He grew up in the Church of God of Prophecy at 85 East 165th Street. In 1991 he came to know Christ and 8 years later in 1999 he wrote his first poem, as well as songs for other musicians. In 2000 timJ wrote his first complete rap song. As the Lord started to truly birth a ministry inside of him, he hooked up with Bro. Dwayne Handfield in 2003 and the vision of Shiloh Music Ministries, to work towards an album. The acronym timJ stands for 'till I meet Jesus', a name God has instilled in him, for until then “He shall do what God says do, go where God says go, and say what God says say.”

What I Do

Lyrically expressing truth, the Word of God, the gospel & Jesus Christ, timJ (till I meet Jesus) ministering throughout the world to this generation, is creating a movement of SOULS valuable to the Kingdom of GOD. Since his start in 1999, timJ has been blessed to minister as a finalist in the 2004 McDonald's Gospelfest, during a mission trip to Bermuda, a Regional Convention in Montreal, Canada, the COGOP National Youth Conference in 2006 and various local churches, street–fairs and youth functions in New York. On June 25, 2005, timJ released his self titled debut album “Til I Meet Jesus” on Shiloh Music Ministries. He has already begun to nurture younger musical ministers like, RIC (Righteous In Christ) and Crystal Clear. Currently, timJ is working on his new album TESTAMENT, which is slated for a late 2008 release, solidifying his testimony as a Minister of the Gospel.
